I made a big decision a couple of weeks ago to overhaul Eva’s back catalogue. As I prepare to take the Skyberg series into the future (no, I don’t mean that the next book is set in the 23rd Century or anything like that!), I realised that calling Run Girl ‘a prequel’ rather than ‘Book 1’ was a bit confusing for new readers: should they start with the prequel, or Book 1?
Obviously, I want as many people as possible to read and love Eva’s books, and re-numbering the Ingrid Skyberg series will, I hope, make it easier for new fans to discover Eva’s work, especially as from now on Run Girl will be available for free to download! So just to be clear, Run Girl becomes Book 1, Fresh Doubt becomes Book 2 (instead of Book 1), Kill Plan becomes Book 3, and Deep Hurt becomes Book 4. The content of all four books remains completely the same.
June 1st would have been Eva’s 50th birthday. As well as celebrating this event with family and friends, I wanted to be able to share something with her fans; unfortunately, I won’t be able to finish Book 5 in time (I’m dying to tell you the new title, but that’ll have to stay under wraps for the time being), but I can promise that there are a couple of treats headed your way over the next few weeks. If you want to stay up-to-date with all the changes, why not follow Eva on Twitter?
And if you want to find out how I’m getting on with the new book, check out JF Penn’s blog on The Pursuit Of Justice And A Love For London.
All the best,
